Video Conference

How the video conference looks like? The below figure show a 5 parties video conference bridged by FaramPhone, when the conference havs been set up, the CIF size video window will pop-up to show 4 parties QCIF video from the remote side. And, all your remote parties in the conference will see the other 4 parties video like this way, too.

While doing video conference, the FaramPhone will work as video conference server. Use the FaramPhone, you can setup an conference with your friends easily. For the voice quality purpose, now we support the 5 parties (including local) in one conference. The following procedure is to setup the conference:

1. If no call existed, the procedure to setup a conference is the following:
    • Make a call in one phone, while the current call is in connected status, press the        Conference button, it will put the current call in hold.
    • Switch to another logical line, call your friend, after it is connected, then press the        Conference button again, the conference bridge will be set up.

2. If one call existed, the procedure to setup a conference is the following:
    • Press the Conference button, it will put the current call in hold.
    • Switch to another logical line, call your friend, after it is connected, then press the        Conference button again, the conference bridge will be set up.

3. If the two calls in the two logical line are already exist, the way to setup the conference is the following:
    • Choose a phone to host the conference; press the Conference button, the call will be        in hold. Switch to another phone, press the Conference button again, the conference        will be set up to bridge the two calls.

4. The way to add party into the conference bridge:
    • If you want to add more party into the conference to the current conference, you can        press the Conference button again, the conference will be in hold.
    • Switch to another logical, call your friend, after it is connected, then press the        Conference button again, the friend will be added to the conference.
